This calculator produces an estimate based on typical Australian synthetic turf supply and installation rates — not a binding quote. Your landscaper will confirm the final price after a site assessment.
GST handling: All estimates include GST at 10% as required by Australian Tax Office guidelines for registered businesses.

Price turf supply by grade
Multiplies the area by the supply rate for the selected grass quality — budget, mid-range, premium pet-friendly or sports/putting grade.
supply_cost = area × grade_rate

Add installation labour
Applies the per-m² install rate to the total area. Covers laying, joining, trimming and securing the turf.

Add base preparation
Adds per-m² base prep cost — overlay on existing surface, compacted crushed rock or full excavation with new base.

Add edging, infill and removal
Edging is priced per lineal metre by material. Infill (sand or rubber crumb) is priced per m². Old surface removal adds a per-m² stripping cost when selected.

Apply access factor, GST and minimum
Difficult access adds a 15% surcharge. A minimum job fee ensures small areas are viable. GST (10%) is added to the subtotal.
