Wall area is calculated by multiplying the linear metres by the average height for the selected height bracket.

Each material has a per-square-metre rate based on current Australian supply and labour costs. Rates sourced from hipages and serviceseeking.

Adjust for soil difficulty
Clay adds 15% and rocky soil adds 30% to account for harder excavation, potential machinery hire and slower progress.

Add engineering and drainage
Engineering certificate cost is added automatically for walls over 1m. Drainage is costed per linear metre of ag-pipe and gravel.

Apply GST
